At The Avenue we believe it is the church’s job not to simply babysit kids for an hour, but to partner with the whole family to raise a generation of children passionate about loving God and loving others.
What to Expect at a Weekend Service
Check In – When your family arrives at a weekend service, you will want to check them into a service. At the check in station each child receives a sticker with a unique ID number. You receive a sticker with the matching number. Then kids go to either Wiggle Way (Birth-Pre K) or Kids City (K-5th grade) We ask that kids older than 5th grade attend the adult service.
What do the kids do? - Each week children engage in lessons, songs, and projects targeted for their particular age group with the goal of building an authentic faith.
If your child is sick - We ask that all children who are feeling a bit under the weather not be checked into the kids areas.
Pick Up – After the service you can return to the Wiggle Way or Kids City Room to pick up your child. Please make sure to have your ID sticker with you.
