So if you hadn’t heard, 10-10-10 is a pretty big day for us. We’re launching The Avenue on that day.
To prepare for that day we are conducting a huge blitz throughout the city. Below is a list of everything that is going on.
August 23-27 On Campus: We’re on campus Monday-Friday giving away food, Frisbees, and other cool stuff.
August 29 Preview Service Until we launch officially, The Avenue is having a once a month church service where we are inviting people from the community to come and see what God is doing in Louisville. And the best part is everyone is invited to stick around afterwards for a free meal. August 29th 5:30pm Address is 3845 Southern Parkway Louisville, KY 40214
September 11 EKU Game Tailgating: Tailgating begins at 1:00 pm, and we have tickets available for the game only $10.00 a piece. Come grab a dog and burger and catch the game.
September 18 Planetarium Light Show (U2 and Fondue) On this night come out and enjoy an incredible light show set to U2. Plus we’ll have fondue. U2 and fondue get it? The show gets started at 8pm Address is 108 W Brandeis Ave Louisville, KY 40292
September 26 Preview Service Once again we will do a preview service for the community and have a free meal afterwards. September 26 5:30pm 3845 Southern parkway Louisville, KY 40214
October 3rd Louisville Science Center: From 3-6 that afternoon we have access to the whole science center and the IMAX theater. Great event for kids or those who still act like kids.
